Privacy notice
This website does not use cookies, does not track visitors and does not load anything from third-party servers. This notice explains the little that does happen, and what we do with personal data when you choose to get in touch.
1. Who is responsible for your data

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to under Article 37 GDPR.
2. What happens when you visit this website
This site is a set of static pages. It has no user accounts, no comment section and no forms. Specifically:
- No cookies. The site sets no cookies of any kind, neither ours nor anyone else's. This is why you are not asked to accept anything.
- No browser storage. Nothing is written to localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB.
- No analytics and no tracking. We do not use Google Analytics or any other statistics tool, and there are no advertising or profiling technologies.
- No third-party content. Every file the page loads — text, styles, scripts, fonts, images and logos — is served from avviocapital.it. Fonts are hosted on our own server, not requested from Google Fonts or any other external service, so no request carrying your IP address leaves for a third party while the page loads.
- No embedded content. There are no iframes, videos, maps or social widgets.
3. Server logs
The site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. Like any web server, Cloudflare's infrastructure records technical data about each request: the IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the browser and operating system reported by your device, and the page you came from.
These records exist to deliver the site, keep it available and protect it from abuse such as automated attacks. We do not use them to build profiles, and we do not combine them with other data to identify individual visitors.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating and securing the
website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention: these logs are kept by Cloudflare for the period set out
in its own documentation; we do not keep a separate copy.
4. If you write to us
When you send an email to info@avviocapital.com we receive your address, your message and anything you attach. We use it only to read and reply, and we keep the correspondence for as long as it remains useful for that purpose or for our records.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a possible relationship, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
5. If you submit a pitch
The "Share your pitch" button does not open a form on this site. It takes you to a form hosted on Google Forms, a service of Google LLC. From the moment you follow that link you are on Google's platform, and Google's own privacy terms apply to what happens there — including the fact that the form may require you to be signed in to a Google account.
We receive the answers you submit, and we use them only to assess your company and to reply. We keep applications for as long as they remain relevant to our investment activity.

6. Links to other websites
This site links to external websites: our portfolio companies, our LinkedIn and Instagram pages, the personal LinkedIn profiles of our team, and the private portal of Avvio Capital Investment Circle. Following any of these links takes you outside our website, and what those sites do with your data is governed by their own privacy notices, not by this one.
7. Data outside the European Economic Area
Cloudflare and Google are companies based in the United States, and personal data they handle on our behalf or on their own account — the server logs described in section 3, and the pitch form described in section 5 — may be processed outside the European Economic Area.
8. Who else sees your data
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing. Beyond the providers named above, data may be disclosed to our professional advisers, or to public authorities where the law requires it.
There is no automated decision-making and no profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
9. Your rights
Under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR you have the right to ask us for access to your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to have its processing restricted, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to receive the data you provided in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, write to info@avviocapital.com. We will reply within one month.
If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or with the authority of the country where you live.
10. Changes to this notice
If what the site does changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. There is no mailing list to notify, because we do not keep one.
